What is this training about?
This training aims at pinpointing various funding opportunities for the development of the sign language interpreting profession and sharing knowledge on the requirements of the application process and project management.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn how to search for funding opportunities at European level, the application process, suggestions and strategies to apply, as well as soft skills needed to satisfy both the technical requirement and the storytelling aspect in order to stand out from thousands of other applications.
The capacity building training will encompass:
- Theory and terminology on European projects
- Programme management methodologies
- Fundraising and funding opportunities
- Budgeting and the financial framework
- Cross-frontier and cross-sectoral opportunities
- Storytelling and creativity development
- Strategies for applying

Training Schedule
- Friday 28th June from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
- Saturday 29th June from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Sunday 30th June from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Who is our trainer?
Jelena Močević, Community Manager at the World Forum for Democracy, has over ten years of experience in project writing, fundraising and programme management at European level. Jelena is the former Programme Manager of European Heritage Days, a joint programme of the Council of Europe and the European Commission, the most widely celebrated participatory cultural programme shared by the citizens of Europe.

- NASLI delegates

Important
Your place on the course will be confirmed by email.
Please do not book your accommodation or flight until your place on the course has been confirmed. Or if you do so, it will be at your own risk.
Selection of participants will be made according to the “first come, first served” system.
How much does it cost?
The registration fee includes tuition and coffee breaks. Participants will have to arrange for their own accommodation and travel. A list of hotels will be provided to registered participants.
Payments must be made the same day of registration. If not, your registration is not valid.

Registration fees:
- efsli individual members: 120,00 euros
- non efsli individual members: 240,00 euros
Individual membership is open to Sign Language Interpreters within Europe and other interested persons who subscribe to the aim and objectives of efsli.
