Our trainer will be Professor Christian Rathmann.
Dr. Christian Rathmann is professor for sign languages and sign language interpreting at University of Hamburg, Germany. He directs two BA- and MA programs in sign language and sign language interpreting as well as two professional training programs in Deaf interpreting/Translation and sign language education. Furthermore, he was involved in establishing another training program for Deaf interpreters at University of Salzburg, Austria. His ongoing research projects include interpreting studies, sign language studies (esp. sign language corpus), LI/12 acquisition, sign language learning & teaching and Deaf Studies.
