Interpreting in Educational Contexts: Ideologies, Myths & Realities
29 November 2023, 18:00–20:00 CET on Zoom
This presentation will explore what it means to interpret for Deaf children and youth in educational settings, through an exploration of some of the ideologies, myths and realities. We will examine the factors that shape the experience for interpreters and Deaf learners and identify some of the ways we can provide more effective services in such contexts.
