Join us in Portgual with Support from SAF!

Every year, sign language interpreters from across Europe come together at the efsli conference. It is a special event where interpreters share experiences, learn from one another, and gain new skills.

To make the efsli conference is more accessible to interpreters across Europe, efsli established the Supportive Attendance Fund (SAF) in 2004. The fund aims to support wider participation, particularly from interpreters in European countries with a cost-of-living index of 50 or lower. Interpreters from all European countries are warmly invited to apply.

This year, the efsli conference will take place in Lisbon 12-14 September 2025.

Please note: This year, SAF support is only available in the form of free entrance tickets.  Our aim is to make it possible for as many interpreters as possible to attend the conference.
