We are looking for experienced interpreters to work between English and International Sign to deliver their services at the efsli Day on 11 September and during the conference on 12-13 September.

The Scientific Committee encourages submissions for presentations that explore the role of formal education and credentialing in advancing the professionalization of sign language interpreting across Europe.

At the efsli Annual General Meeting on 25 April 2026 (online), new board members will be elected. Candidates are welcome to stand for election through their national association of sign language interpreters (NASLI).

On 12 September, efsli Day brought together interpreters and partners from across Europe in Lisbon, hosted with the warm support of the Portuguese organising committee and the Associação Portuguesa de Surdos.

Every year, sign language interpreters from across Europe come together at the efsli conference. It is a special event where interpreters share experiences, learn from one another, and gain new skills.
