On 12 September, efsli Day brought together interpreters and partners from across Europe in Lisbon, hosted with the warm support of the Portuguese organising committee and the Associação Portuguesa de Surdos.
The European Forum of Sign Language Interpreters (efsli) recently took part in an important two-day event in Brussels on April 7–8, 2025: “Sign Language in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: What Digital Rights and Ethical Dilemmas?”
Every year, sign language interpreters from across Europe come together at the efsli conference. It is a special event where interpreters share experiences, learn from one another, and gain new skills.
At efsli, we are looking to collaborate with in-house interpreters to support our internal meetings and training sessions. The main working languages will be English <> International Sign.
We are looking for experienced interpreters to work between English and International Sign for the efsli Day (12 September) and the efsli Conference (13-14 September).
efsli offers our members and the National Associations of Sign Language Interpreters (NASLIs) the opportunity to deliver our training programs in your own country and national language!
